Policies for English
Ø Be on time for class and have materials. If late, bring a note.
Ø Attendance-If you are going to be gone, take the quiz/test ahead of time. I prefer to do makeup work in the mornings. I will arrive by 7:15. No test will be given in the library. You may take test during study hall but need to take them with me. You have one week to make up any missed assignments. Expect make up tests and quizzes.
Ø Please use blue or black ink on tests and pencil on Scantron.
Ø Do not cheat. If you are not sure it is cheating, ask me. I will report cheaters to the honor council. On test days, there will be 3 long rows in the room.
Ø Homework will be posted on Google Classroom.
Ø It is a good habit to take notes.
Ø Participation points will be given. This means—You should be active with class participation, and you should not do other homework during class discussion or group work.
Ø Ask if you do not know. There are no irrelevant questions.
